What is Chunks Microlearning?

Chunks Microlearning is a newly released (as of December 2025) mobile app that can be seen as a library of short stories, covering a wide range of categories, such as history, philosophy, science and more.

I (Andy) created the Chunks app as a way to combat doomscrolling, providing an alternative to myself and ideally others, so that instead of wasting minutes or potentially hours of time scrolling the usual social media apps, I can spend the 5-10 minute breaks in my day learning something.

There are other apps in the market that serve to do the same (Paladin, Yuno, Nibble to name a few), but I felt their approach was different from what I'd like to see in an app like this.

This blog will serve as a place to announce new content additions, as well as features and other changes to the app as it develops over time. I invite you to download the app and give it a try.

It's available for both iOS (here) & Android (here). It's using a freemium subscription model, where some stories are free to access, and others are behind a paywall.
